DR.RAMESH PUJAR
He completed his schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bellary. He obtained his MBBS degree from Mysore Medical College, Mysore in 2004 and his MS degree from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli in 2008. He trained in joint replacement and spine surgeries at Bombay Hospital, Mumbai in 2008.
Dr. Ramesh Pujar started Sri Durga Orthopaedic Center in Davanagere in 2008 and worked as an Assistant Professor at SS Hospital and Medical College from 2008 to 2014. He has also worked as a visiting consultant at many hospitals in Davanagere.
He has performed more than 8,000 orthopaedic procedures, more than 2,000 spine surgeries, and more than 200 joint replacement surgeries.
In 2022, the new hospital 'Sri Durga Hospital' was established on Shamanur Road in Davanagere. This hospital is dedicated to orthopaedic super specialty care and provides 24/7 emergency trauma care services with ICU backup. Complicated trauma surgeries, spine surgeries, and joint replacements (total knee and total hip) are performed at this center using state-of-the-art technology.
